Sketching Data: Lessons Learned From a Formative User Evaluation

Using mobile tablets to input data for graphing is tedious. This SketchGraph prototype allows users to sketch and manipulate a data graph, automatically creating an editable data table. This talk presents usability lessons from a test of the prototype and summarizes the issues that a future data-sketching tool must address.
